EveryCalc — Privacy Policy

EveryCalc (“the app”, package com.everycalc.app) is a collection of offline calculators. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

The short version

• EveryCalc has no user accounts and no sign-in.
• Your calculations, history, favorites, and settings are stored only on your device. We never receive them.
• We do not sell your data.
• The only data leaving your device goes to Google AdMob (to show ads) and Google Play (to process the optional “Remove Ads” purchase), as described below.

Information stored on your device

The app saves the following locally, using your device’s storage, so the app works offline and remembers your preferences: calculation history, favorite calculators, recently used calculators, theme/appearance settings, your “Remove Ads” (Pro) status, and a cached snapshot of currency exchange rates. This information stays on your device. You can clear it any time from Settings → Data, or by uninstalling the app.

Currency exchange rates

The currency converter fetches public exchange-rate data from a third-party rates provider (open.er-api.com) so conversions stay current. These requests contain no personal information — only a request for the latest rate table. The rates are then cached on your device for offline use.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Unless you purchase “Remove Ads”, the app shows advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google’s advertising SDK may collect and process device and usage information (such as a device advertising identifier, general location inferred from IP, and ad-interaction data) in accordance with Google’s policies. Where required (for example in the EEA/UK), the app presents a consent choice using Google’s User Messaging Platform before personalized ads are shown, and honors that choice. You can review or change your ad-preferences at any time from Settings → Privacy & Ads → Manage Ad Preferences.

Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The optional one-time “Remove Ads” purchase is processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles the payment; the app never sees your payment details. The app only records, on your device, whether the purchase is active so ads can be disabled.

Children

EveryCalc is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data we collect

We, the developer, do not operate any server that receives or stores your personal data. We have no ability to identify you or access your history, because that information never leaves your device. Third-party services named above (Google AdMob, Google Play) handle data under their own privacy policies.

Your choices

• Remove all local data: Settings → Data → Clear History / Clear Recents, or uninstall the app.
• Turn off personalized ads or reset ad consent: Settings → Privacy & Ads.
• Remove ads entirely: the one-time “Remove Ads” purchase in Settings → Pro.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change and the revised policy will be posted at this URL.
